Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has launched the website of ‘RestStop’, a project of the Overseas Keralites Investment and Holding Ltd. (OKIH), on December 31, 2020.



RestStop, wayside amenities centers, planned with global standards along the National and State Highways in every district will make travelling across the state very comfortable and safer. Planned in an area of three to five acres, RestStop will comprise of food courts and restaurants, convenience stores, fuel stations, electric vehicle charging facilities, vehicle maintenance facilities, medical facilities, police-aid post, washrooms with the highest hygiene standards, children play area parking facilities and many more based on respective locality.

RestStop is the first initiative of OKIH, a 100% state government owned entity, to utilise skills and experience of the Non-Resident Keralites in different verticals and also avail them an avenue to park their saving safely for reasonable returns.
